What do Storm fans think of her Onslaught costume?

That’s one costume that I’ve always loved. I’d like to see it make a return some time down the line. I would love to see a more modern twist on it. The hairstyle is one that always stuck out to me. Whenever I see it I think of T-boz from TLC. I know without the shadow of a doubt that Coipel, Yardin, Ibanez or Dauterman would knock it outta the park.

Reading the Fantastic Four when Storm and T'Challa replaced Reed and Sue and Storm is seriously under powered. She could solo half the villains in the fight and yet she just stands there. I do not like a goddess to take a step back for any man.
I went and rewatched the 90's animated series episode where Storm completely solos the entire Hellfire Club whilst Rogue, Cyclops, Wolverine, Gambit & Beast all get knocked out quickly.

That’s always my annoyed frustration with comics. When the lack of imagination or inability of the writer to present credible challenges that fit their cast (or they just don’t know their cast well enough). I hate that solo characters typically get challenges to equal or surpass them so they can try/fail/succeed/grow/learn, but powerful team book characters often get presented w/ challenges they can overcome on their own but are written down so the whole team can contribute. I never understood that logic.

"Marvel Universe: Onslaught," the special issue that led to the killing of most major non-X-Men Marvel superheroes (aka being later transferred to "Heroes Reborn"). In the final battle against Onslaught, the Avengers and FF join the X-Men in the fight. Onslaught, with Franklin Richards and Nate Grey imprisoned within him, warps reality to create a second sun above the Earth, causing an ecological upheaval. So Cyke orders Thor, Storm and Crystal to combine their weather/elemental powers to keep the battlefield environment livable while the rest press the attack on Onslaught. We only see Scott give the order and the three moving (actual action done off-screen).

Long story short, Hulk cracks the Onslaught armor, unleashing his energy form. The Avengers and FF jump inside to absorb Onslaught into their bodies while leaving the X-Men to kill them. The action was seen by bystanders and interpreted (naturally) as the filthy muties backstabbing the real heroes, which then leads to "Zero Tolerance."


This is an impossibility now. THIS IS AN IMPOSSIBILITY NOW!

I know all of that I remember it, i just don’t remember what issue.

I thought it was cute especially the hair.

Storm on "MFF" is fairly good, with some sweet area attacks for screen-clearing. I just haven't had time to really boost her stats and gear, seeing as I'm a free player that kind of avoids in-game purchases like the plague.

"Fate/Grand Order" is awesome, and has a more involved story than the minimal trans-dimensional plot of "Future Fight." I'd try discussing power levels of Type-Moon's Heroic Spirits/Servants compared to Marvel characters, but "X-Men/mutantdom drops all challengers" and everything.

I looooooooooooooooove the Fate/Stay Night series! All of them. I'm just waiting to watch the Heaven Feels 2nd and 3rd parts to the movie.

I know the feeling. And what I showed was just from the anime adaptations. The actual "Fate/Grand Order" mobile game is even more intense. And it's been active for four years.

That said, Ororo's hairstyle to go with the Onslaught costume was unabashedly anime, with the extra-long side-bangs that were even longer that her hair at the back of her head at the time.

This is beautiful, Jwatson. You are gifted! I love the way you render the Hadari Yao. I just saw a meme of Thanos when he gives Gamora her first blade. He gives it to her and says “it’s perfectly balanced. As all things should be...” I was blown away. Storm’s line in Marauders #4 is a nod to Thanos’ line in Endgame. Here we are and Thanos also speaks of balance and what do you know? Who knows more of balance than the goddess by which it is her divine mutant right to oversee?

I haven't done digital, for some reason I just like the pen/pencil/brush in my hand against paper. I haven't drawn anything in months though. I can't create anything new just from my mind(yet).
