Uh you can’t have “hope and heroism” if they’re not going up against something threatening with meaningful stakes. If it’s just heroes sitting around having a cookout that’s not exactly “heroic”. I wish they were focusing on villains other than the exact same lineup, but I don’t see the problem with starting to build towards something big.
Don't get the fascination with putting villains front and center. To me they're absolutely nothing without the hero.
"They can be a great people Kal-El, they wish to be. They only lack the light to show the way. For this reason above all, their capacity for good, I have sent them you. My only son." - Jor-El
It's been done.
A lot.
Recently, even.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
Ho-hum.
*bangs the gong*
Nice art, though.
"There's magic in the sound of analog audio." - CNET.
You know, I wouldn't be adverse to Jason Todd killing Batman Who Laughs, if it would stop this sort of thing.
I guess Geoff Johns needed more time to finish Dooms Day Clock
Zero interest in this one.
Looks like I get to save some money!
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.
My first thought was "Didn't we just do this?" but I'm looking forward to it.
I wonder if we're going to see more than the Legion of Doom.
