The ascent up and out of the ship, was far swifter than the descent.

Perhaps it was because he had time to gain his bearings, or perhaps it was because he could allow himself the luxury of floating upwards from time to time, as opposed to having to force himself to go deeper and deeper into the interior of the ship. Or perhaps he found himself energized from a job well done.

No matter the case, Held glided through the water as if he was born for it, the darkness of the manmade cavern ignored as all the twists and turns of the ship had been ingrained into his memory.

Until he collided rather painfully with a wall that should not have been there, knocking himself senseless. Beneath the daze, he swore he could feel the ship sway, although that might have been his facilities.

Fucking Hell...Did I make a wrong turn? I don't think...

He shone the light upon the wall.

Of course. During the power down sequence a door from the engine room to the cargo bay had sealed itself. It couldn't be /too/ easy, he supposed.

He adjusted himself, bracing his body as he gripped the door, preparing to force it open.
