So cbr posted their DC October solicitations on July 25th.

but our solicitations will be for August though?

I’ve sent some messages but haven’t heard anything back about when, specifically, we’ll be able to post. The new AOM thread in the Marvel forums also hasn’t been stickied. I’m still unsure about why our solicitation contests have suddenly become offensive.

The site is unquestionably not offended in regard to your contests, Exciter. It's just a matter of CBR getting first crack at it from now on.

I'm a bit miffed that CBR's doing something like what we've been doing for years but didn't ask/say anything to us about it. TPTB obviously knew since they've ixnayed aka delayed our version of fan solicits in favour of theirs. I just find that unfortunate.

Yeah, that's really disappointing since we've been doing this for over a decade. I kinda would like to know what our window is for posting solicits. Like Exciter mentioned, a name change could eliminate the confusion.

From what I have been told, as soon as CBR posts their monthly solicits at their news section, you can post yours here immediately.

So as guanlishabi pointed out, CBR posted official solicitations for October releases on July 25th. Presuming they post November’s solicitations on August 25th, we would then be able to post our August solicitations on August 25th? And we only have that last week of the month to post them, because we cannot post in the beginning of a new month?

I honestly know just about as much as you do about this. The only thing I can add is that Jenny C will be posting the solicit threads, guys, since she's the new head of the news department.
