Nobody is killing it like Morrison on TGL, in my opinion.
Christopher Priest from last I read, but I've been sitting out the end of his Deathstroke to read in one go.
It's the Dynamic Duo! Batman and Robin!... and Red Robin and Red Hood and Nightwing and Batwoman and Batgirl and Orphan and Spoiler and Bluebird and Lark and Gotham Girl and Talon and Batwing and Huntress and Azreal and Flamebird and Batcow?
Since when could just anybody do what we trained to do? It makes it all dumb instead of special. Like it doesn't matter anymore.
-Dick Grayson (Batman Inc.)
Morrison on GL, He still is the best out there, IMO
"Dangerous Zombie! Transform!! Click And Load! Buggle UP! Danger! Danger! Death The Crisis! Dangerous Zombie!" Kamen Rider Gemn
(In first he's mysterious and evil and now he's psycho and crazy and insane and evil AND "The Meme Lord"LOL.)
Priest on Deathstroke.
I read GL #10 and was stunned by the brilliance, but I just can't get in to GL, whereas the few issues of Deathstroke I have read over this run have made me a fan so my vote goes to:
Priest.
Grant Morrison.
Best superhero comics writer ever.

Tom King. He's writing my favorite Batman ever and I can't wait for Strange Adventures.
I dont think the current output is anywhere near as strong as DC has had at other times but of recent writers John Rivera, Hayden Blackman, and China Mieville should all be writing a book now in my world.
I’m going to have to say ‘no one’ for now.
"There's magic in the sound of analog audio." - CNET.
I'm going with "no one".
Yeah, people complain a lot but I think there's a whole bunch of great writers working at DC right now (if not necessarily exclusively)
Along with my pick of Grant Morrison (The Green Lantern), we also have (with notable works in brackets)...
Brian Michael Bendis (Action Comics, Young Justice)
Mark Russell (Wonder Twins... Flinstones from not too long ago)
Greg Rucka (Lois Lane... Wonder Woman not too long ago)
Matt Fraction (Jimmy Olsen)
Tom King (Mister Miracle)
Sam Humphries (Dial H For Hero)
And probably a few that I'm forgetting. Interesting how many of these orbit around Bendis, though...
