For some reason I just can’t stop laughing at Dodson’s Mr Fantastic on this cover. I think it’s the combination of the Stare of Gravitas with the Neck of Hilarity. I genuinely can’t breathe. Help.

Black Ant is still the evil limbo bound Ant-Man. Darren Cross is simply the new villainous Yellowjacket in a line of them (1. Crazy Hank Pym & 2. Rita Demara).

Hey they deserve a meal that won't give then heavy metal poisoning/ have them die of alcohol poisoning. Also domino has been through enough so QQ gets left behind

Only thing I am missing from this relaunch is the emergence of some new kick ass artist like Jerome Opena in Uncanny X-Force or Dautermann from the Cyclops solo. Additionally while there is some big name, Yu, Kubert, Noto; they are all on the old-school / classic style side. Bendis’ X-Men had better art with Immonen, Bachalo, David Marquez and Frazer Irving. Bendis’ has a real talent in finding/attracting the best new artists.

Haven't loved Yu's art this year, but lordy those covers are cool.

Glad that New Mutants is a "real" book for this New Wave. Just hope we're not going to be stuck in Globland for too long.

Besides Marquez, none of those artists were discovered by Bendis. Immonen and Bachalo have been doing acclaimed art since the early ‘90s and Irving worked with Grant Morrison.
