Me too. Black Panther was the first character I made a conscious decision to essentially read everything before the movie and I felt genuinely rewarded for doing so.

Yeah, I mean, I at one point read a lot of comcs.

But obviously, i read a lot more BP. Iv'e read every solo and team books he's been in more than once lol.

It felt like the movie rewarded me for that.

I did't have thta same sort of experience with say... Thor. Another one of my favorite characters but I haven't read his entire back catologue like BP.

I doubt Tchadwick is going to bounce after the second movie, at the very least he will finish the trilogy. And at this point it would be completely hamfisted to try to get her ready asap because she hasn't shown any hint of wanting that. Plus again this is about T'Challa, bit trying to replace him as soon as he gets the throne

One of the Rami Spider-Mans released a 2.5 version, had to be 2 then I think. Anyway, don't think the MCU has done that but I wish they would for BP. Hell, I buy another physical with an extra 40 minutes of empty exposition no question.

This looks sick. I am still salty we won't see the big panther Gundam in the empyre tie in but I wouldn't mind seeing more of this. It reminds me of the one T'Challa used in Redjacks PQ

I don't understand this big push to try and get T'Challa out and Shuri in. Like the minute a Black male character is shown outside the stereotypes it's all let's immediately replace then with a black female. Dudes been around for 50+ years and Shuri has around for 15. She doesn't have a strong presence despite that time (hell T'Challa doesn't have as a strong a presence for how long he's been around) so put respect on his name. She is a supporting character in HIS mythos, not the other way around. Develop her too but that comes second to T'Challa, then after she has enough she can Branch off and make her own path

It's less that anyone at marvel wants to push Bosemsn out, and more that they have a viable replacement when he leaves. Again, if he's got 2-3 movies left then they can take their time. But if the story that he has a 5 movie deal is accurate, then obviously marvel needs to plan for life beyond Boseman. It's just business.
