    This is superb comics.

    Bishop's handpicked squad?

    Psylocke
    Gambit
    Shatterstar
    M
    Sage
    Jesse Bedlam
All of them can operate well with handling business as individuals and equally as part of a team

Hey, I remember him. His name was Michael I believe. That was the series where Fitzroy was the Chronomancer.

Nope, another forgotten X-plot. It would have been a cool idea if it was a young Bishop from an alternate timeline that he had to protect.

I don't think he was supposed to be anybody other than what he was portrayed to be -- Michael, a human kid mixed up with Bishop through no fault of his own.

I've long hoped we'd see that desolate future again -- Nom and his giants, the Kith. Maybe Michael grew up to become ruler himself.

You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.

    Bishop basica team would have:
    Rogue (flying brick)
    Storm (elemental)
    gambit (thief and good fighter)
    Betsy (TK/TP)
Sage (detective and good fighting skills)
they are the closest relationships he has too
I think he would choose Polaris too and maybe cannonball

    Sam, too!

If I was giving Bish a little detective squad investigating extinction level/reality altering threats against mutants I'd like to really mix it up. Give him some "rookies" of his own to mold, add weight to previous briefly touched on relationships, and still play off of other tenured X-Men.
    Penance
    Banshee
    Mercury
    Bedlam
    Skids
    Thunderbird III

Bedlam and Bishop can both cook also and Bish needs some new competition in the kitchen. Beating Gambit is old.

As much as I can see Bishop considering Storm a close friend, ally, and powerhouse, I feel like he’d take a back seat to her leadership. Similarly, I think he’d defer to Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Phoenix.

I should keep track and tally the top picks. Loving that people recognize Gambit as a good lancer to Lucas’ leader.

I think I like this team better than the one I proposed.

If he gets another chance in the MCU X-films who do you think they'd cast?

Idris is such a cultural force, I can’t imagine anyone else as Lucas Bishop.

That's where most of my favorite looks and images would come from. Also, anything from Age of X-Man: Prisoner X is acceptable as he looked so damn good in that series.
why does this image remind me of that one scend in django?

Yeah storm is a natural born leader, they would had to be co-leaders or maybe use iceman on hers slot
