I don't think so, not that I wouldn't vote for him if he did, or that I don't think he'd make a good governor. I just think that he might have a problem with the NJ State legislature, and I'd worry that he might not be able to push past the roadblocks to get anything done. Murphy is barely able to make inroads, but even he is having problems.
I could be wrong, but I think Booker is going to stay in the Senate until a Cabinet position opens up or something similar.
If I'd wager on any Democrat running after Murphy, who is up for re-election, it would probably be Craig Coughlin.

As far as discussing Sen. Booker running for New Jersey Governor... I think he's doing to much good in the Senate. I would love for Sen. Menendez to retire at the end of his current term and Gov. Murphy to run for his seat, though.

I wouldn't. I mean, I prefer Murphy as Governor. If anyone was going to run for Menendez's seat, I'd rather it be Tom Malinowski, though another possibility is Sheila Oliver. Either of those two would make great Senators. I think Oliver is being under-utilized in the Lt Gov role.
Not that I haven't day-dreamed about running myself
