Interesting that humans would choose to make an effigy of Jean instead of Magneto, Apocalypse, or even Emma since they are the ones that handle international politics. I didn't know Jean would be considered as one of the recognizable faces of the nation.

Xavier and Jean have defined themselves as credible leaders in the international community of mutants who won't try to kill you for being human. They want peace, not servitude or death. Magneto and Apocalypse are the opposite, they're the boogie man to humanity - even those who like mutants. Is Emma known for being an international face for mutants, though? She's not defined for giving speeches at the UN.

Ugh, that dialogue. Nothing has changed for the quality of this book and won`t change with the same writer.
Hopefully it will end soon and 2021 will be a better year for Gambit and Rogue in comics.

Im really nervous about Swords of X with her dialogue. I hope Hickman carries most of the weight there.

And Larraz will make the story look pretty AF at least.

Strange for the Excalibur preview to drop when other books are scheduled to release first. But I'm incredibly pleased to have X-Books to look forward to again. I'm getting pretty close to the end of my personal reread list.

As per usual, Marcus To's art is gorgeous. We'll see how this new arc goes- I'm not sure Tini Howards writing is for me. I think she handles some characters better than others, but it's not really my jam. In having to cut some books from my pull list, Excalibur might be next to go (having already dropped New Mutants, Wolverine and almost all of the non-X-Books)

I missed new comics. I missed new X-books. May 27 seems to far away, but after these past few months, I'm willing to endure. 😊
