Have you read Roy Thomas' Black Panther?

According to good ol' Roy, Black Panther was the most honorable, lame-ass, Shakespeare-talking, sorry-ass Black hero who couldn't do isht but crouch and leap around.

    However, he was very noble.

What's wrong with speaking Shakespearean English?!?

BP was only crouching only as much as Spiderman, Wolverine and Tigra did from what I recall.

    I don't know what "sorry-ass" means.

Being honorable and Noble is supposed to be bad?!?

In Roy Thomas's BP, there was no story?....BP has no victories?!?....no show of his smarts/intellect?!?

And I just want to reiterate on BP fighting Cap. The fact that BP is Caps equal in skill, but slightly superior physicals combined with tech should give him the win.

But going back to your post. “Blackie” really? How did that make print?

Sorry-ass means your ass is sorry or lame.

But hey, I won't begrudge anyone who likes Roy Thomas' Black Panther the same way I don't begrudge any one who likes Don McGregor's soliloquy spoutin' punk ass BP.

I will give McGregor his props but the dude had a hard on for having T'Challa get beat. I can barely recall a issue from his run where T'Challa didn't get beat up or seriously hurt. Even mooks or regular people would end up hurting him and his first encounter with the Klan left him half dead.

Also don't know why he thought it would be a good idea for T'Challa to constantly get curbed by the big bad. T'Challa vs Killmonger was like watching Hercule vs Cell just for a kid to save T'Challa and kill Erik. Solomon Prey clowns T'Challa twice just for T'Challa to get saved by accident by one of Solomon's own dinosaurs.

Not even Coates' T'Challa got chumped that bad in fights. Went from taking on the F4 to getting repeatedly chumped by almost everyone.

If anybody needed a vibranium mesh weave habit it was McGregor's Panther.

I mean, Roy Thomas had T'Challa not fight the big bad who was a woman and was "Too noble" to do so, the villain commended him for his nobility... The blew a hole in his chest.

Hell read Christopher Priests Page about when he was assigned BP and his only experience of him was through Roy Thomas lense, should tell you how he was treated.

Eh, they are so close i'll accept a stalemate easily. I'd say T'challa wins 6-7/10 but it wouldn't be easy and Steve is no slouch in a fight.

    Fal/WS

    spoilers:
Well, Wakandan's don't play in the MCU still at least lol. "they weren't even super soldiers" lol get fucked John lol.

Bast have mercy, what could have been.

    Ok, back to being sad.
