I wouldn’t say he’s a big name. People barely knew he did comic work before Jace Batman and I don’t think he’s even half as big as Coates was when he took on BP. Plus his current books aren’t exactly lighting up the charts either. I’d say he’s mid-tier, largely propped up by his social relevance through 12 Years a Slave. Very few people consider him an elite comic writer and he’s not seen as a trailblazer in the way relative newcomers like Donny Cates are.
