Funniest thing I’ve read all day.
“ Terrible run. Like Marvel heard people crying over Spencer and Coates said “Hold my Chardonnay.” There’s no way this elitist drinks beer.
So many issues of Cap gawking at supporting characters while they steal the spotlight. Cucktain America.
Coates made Spencer look like Grant Morrison. Nowhere to go but up from here. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, too - 20 issues. Shame on him? Nah, shame on me.” - Supreme41
But skyvolt, Coates is black! We must expeditiously support any and every product he puts out as black people otherwise we’re toxic or not really invested in supporting black creators. If you don’t support the hostile takeover of the Black Panther you ain’t black to begin with! Am I doing it right?
I see KiB: Planet of the Symbiotes #2 made it into the top 75 too.
Hmmm....I wonder what they both have in common. A certain writer perhaps?
CORRECT
Funny thing is many of us are supporting black creators.
I do find it funny even Cap America fans were complaining about the SAME thing as Panther fans were.
Yet no one will call Cap fans fake fans or anything.
This is the stuff that will have Superman fans worried. Those fans have NO issue in venting over how Superman is done by ANYONE even if the book is not about him.
For when my rants on the forums just aren’t enough: https://thevindicativevordan.tumblr.com/
see there are a few things I would use twitter for. Supporting a recast of T'Challa and supporting Redjack becoming the next BP writer. Dude has already long since proven his skill. Whomever marvel passed him for better be channeling a MINIMUM of RJs KiB Black Panther... MINIMUM

T'Challa
A.K.A. The Black Panther
King of Wakanda
King of the Dead and The Champion of Bast
Two-Time Time Magazine "Person Of The Year"
Six-Time People Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive"
I'll echo Tetu and Zenzi. They're cool designs. Their powers can be interesting, even if very vaguely defined. And T'Challa needs more of a rogue's gallery that is his own. I hope even those who don't like them would agree there's nothing there that can't be salvaged by a writer they find more appealing.
Personally, I'm not opposed to the Midnight Angels sticking around just from a visual perspective. That being said, I think the premise of another militant faction inside Wakanda is wasted. They fill a sort of Jabari role in some ways as an ally rather than subject-citizen, but the second they agreed to help T'Challa, they essentially started working for him (ironically making their fears correct).
Matt Murdock's cooler twin brother
I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake!
