The shame is that Marvel is going to reinforce that anyone can be Black Panther.

Its not like when growing up when people dressed up as Batman they were DEFINTELY Bruce Wayne. They are making T'Challa no longer matter by removing him.

I think (if this is the route they decide to go with) they won't succeed in that. They can try, but I doubt it will work. I think what's going to happen is that people will be ambivalent to the franchise until T'Challa comes back

I cant tell you how epic it would have been to see Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa vs Jonathan Majors as Kang in an Avengers level film. Damnit that would havve been great.

Well I think the difference is Coogler's approach. He seemed so excited about doing Black Panther. I remember Comic Con 2016/2017 and he seemed so full of joy. He even seemed excited back in 2019 about finishing his treatment of the script of the sequel.
However, now every time you see or hear him he seems stressed by having to make a movie without Chadwick/T'Challa. Now maybe he's part of the blame by forcing himself to make things even harder.

If he's not up to doing the job he should step aside and let someone else less emotionally taxed take tge reigns. Killing off T'Challa was tge first sign Coogler, Feige et al aren't thinking straight.

IDK what the technical definition between an omnibus and trade is.

priest, hudlin, liss and pretty much everything else has "collected editions" that are like 20 issues each.
