Nah I wouldn’t put Coogler up there with Coates. It’s just that with the refusal to recast, the flaws of T’Challas portrayal in the MCU are now a lot more glaring as they’ll never be fixed. And even if they do recast via variant later on down the line the flaws of Boseman’s T’Challa still won’t be fixed. It blows but as I’ve said, it’s a hell of a lot better than no T’Challa at all.

See this is fair. If people want to say grief is a major part in Coogler's terrible decision making. Im for it. Its a terrible decision and he needs to be better there.

However, I loved what he did before and truly believe we had something great set up before Chad's tragic passing. Man even said in the letter how he looked forward to him reading the lines he'd been working 2 years on.

T'Challa is one of the fastest, most agile and acrobatic people in the MU. Why get hit when you can just move out of the way.
Nah man that's Coates version. Everyone else who has used the force push has shown him use it offensively. A good writer (Like RJ and JA) have used it in both manners.

Think about it, the suit absorbs vibrations, so when you walk talk run, hit things etc. Your producing vibrations, so why couldn't he hit someone and use some of that vibration to knock a MF out? Or dodge a laser, and use the vibration from the landing to make a faster dash attack

I'm sure they mean something to the people that win them but to the general public it's a nothing burger.

I dont see them as flaws as more as omissions due to the medium of film and having this once in a life time opportunity (at the ime) to make a true all black epic.

Well, if he hit's someone I'd like to think the punch alone is enough to do damage without the vibration. And the farce push doesn't make you faster.

And then there is the issue of consistency. When he doesn't use the farce push in every situation, we'll all be wondering why.

Because he’ll fight people who are fast an agile enough to hit him. And that weapon gives him more of a fighting chance. If that’s the route they want to go with TChalla physically. Then they need to make him faster and stronger than low superhuman. That’s why the kinetic push is a good weapon. It adds something to his arsenal.

So without the farce push, T'Challa just gets punked. He managed to dodge and was quicker than Spider-Man without the farce push. He took a hit from a Phoenix powered Namor and survived without the farce push. He beat Karnak without the farce push.

I go back to my comment about consistency, someone correct me if I'm wrong but outside of the BP solo and the KiB one-shot by Redjack, no one is showing BP using the farce push. Not in Avengers, not in Empyre, not in War of the Realms. No one else is using it, not even the current writer.

The comics have shown albeit for maybe a time or two that Spiderman is faster than TChalla. The kinetic push gives him a ranged attack that needs to be respected. You can’t have the most advanced tech on earth and not equip yourself with some of it. That makes no sense. To just use your fists all the time with all that technology on hand.

Sure, he can equip himself with tech, no problem,, I want to see more interesting tech. I just don't think much of the farce push.

But then you have the contingent of fans who don't want T'Challa teched-out because they don't want him too reliant on his tech and not his own abilities. They think that he is the weapon and not the tech he wears.

It's weird, he's a super-genius, one of the smartest people on earth but some don't want him too teched-out.

I actually like the tech that Hickman used in New Avengers:

Cloaking, teleportation, shields looks like enhanced speed. It's like he took Shadow Physics to the next level and made it something that T'Challa could actually incorporate into his fighting style.

I definitely liked Hickmans Panther. I think this is the same issue that TChalla punched a man in half. Hickman was also, I think, one of the first to confirm TChalla was low Superhuman.
