i vote this to be her Regent of Sol lewk -- i instantly fell in love with the cloud cape but only for the event -- she needs to maintain the cape game with likes of Strange or even Doom

AIPT: X-Fan Joseph Hagan asked if Storm will be moving from Marauders to S.W.O.R.D. Basically, where should Storm’s fans go to follow her new adventures?

Jordan: She bid her adieu to the Marauders in the issue before the Hellfire Gala, saying she was going to be moving on. And yes, she will become a permanent fixture in S.W.O.R.D. I think we didn’t put her on the cover of S.W.O.R.D. #7 because we didn’t want to spoil that, but she is all over that issue in a big way. That will be the first place that she begins acting as Regent of the solar system that you definitely want to check out. And then S.W.O.R.D. #8, you’ll see her on the cover fighting — it looks pretty awesome — and yeah, that is a place that she’s going to be going forward.

If Storm’s gonna be a permanent fixture in SWORD and that’s gonna be where she gets her development (no longer having to split it between the X-books and Black Panther) a solo might not be necessary. But if the scope of that book is gonna be as wide as Ewing has hinted, she might not get consistent focus.

I think a spin-off solo by Ewing or Vita Ayala makes a lot of sense and is quite possible as clearly there’s a lot of interest in Planet Arrakko and there’s a lot of story to tell focusing on Storm’s adventures there. I wouldn’t be surprised if post-Inferno we get a new wave of minis/solos along the lines of Way of X or Cable. Storm seems like a strong candidate to get her own project with this exciting new status quo, best to wait and see though.
