While his current hair is nice...I actually do prefer the locs and the braids.

Nothing really wrong with the outfit but me personally I just can't picture Bishop wearing this or any of these Gala type outfits.

I feel like Bishop is far more eclectic than one may think at first glance. He's from the future, and has seen many timelines in his travels. I think he could wear anything and everything with confidence. He's seen it all before.

Bishop can rock both, thank you very much! His dreadlocks are iconic and I think he'll always go back and forth between short hair/bald and the locks!

I do prefer Lucaus with the long locks, but this more contemporary style has grown on me a lot. Especially when Russell Dauterman draws him

Does anyone know the kind of fashion Bishop's Gala outfit is referencing? It seems to be sort of US military inspired maybe, but I can't quite place it.

Oh, I'm not saying braids are wack. I'm Black and all about the diversity we Black men can wear with our hair. I love locs (I rock 'em myself) and braids in real life, but the artists never get them right on Black characters in comics.
Dauterman and the colorist get the look and texture right with the short cut. And Javier Garron was killin' it with the styles he was putting on Miles Morales.

Still nothing interesting going on with Bishop. No story arc and very little to do. New X-teams come out and he can't get one.

He should have been on X-Force or SWORD by now.

In relation to the other thread referring to the time Bishop shot Xavier (by mistake)...and the whole genocide thing running from Cable and hunting down Hope...
It may be canon but just as writers choose what to incorporate and what to ignore, I choose to categorically ignore that hot steaming pile of horse manure.
