Who guard their over bloated paucities of power with money. With false reasoning. With measured hesitance. With prideful, recalcitrant inaction. With hateful invective. With weapons. F@#K these selfish fools and their prevailing world order." Tony Stark
I guess we got the answer to the question who would win Ironman or a Gorilla
The J-man
Considering that just about every major superhero (and even some minor ones) in the Marvel Universe has done incredibly cruel, messed-up things at one point or another, even if the context behind those acts would turn them into more necessary evils (at the time) as opposed to cruelty for cruelty's sake, what makes Tony Stark so special? Granted, as a Spider-Man fan, I'm still somewhat sour over Iron Man convincing Spidey to publicly reveal himself, which set the stage for the atrocity that was and is One More Day, but in retrospect, Peter Parker was (and is) also a grown man who could (in-universe) make his own decisions, so . . .
Of course, Iron Man is in an almost-unparalleled position of leadership, trust, authority, and even respect within the Marvel Universe, despite how (some) writers and fans treat him at times, so his mistakes and misdeeds, such as they are, do cast a greater shadow than those of many or most other superheroes. Furthermore, it does fit an overall pattern of depicting him as the pragmatic, sometimes coldblooded futurist who's willing and able to go to extremes for the sake of the greater good because he sees the big picture that others can't or won't.
The spider is always on the hunt.

I love Tony, but I really don't like the way he's treated Hank Pym for the last several years. Talk about writers treating I.M. unfairly, but Tony dealt with Hank's mental illness terribly. He bullied and mocked him. Maybe now that he's being treated in the same way, he can try and see if there's anything left of Hank inside of Pymtron and actually do something to help him. I hope so.

What about all the other times he and the other heroes treated him with a complete lack of respect when he was still himself? In Dan Slott's Mighty Avengers, instead of offering Hank his support when he formed the new team, he told him not to screw it up. Nice way to treat a guy recovering from a breakdown.
The sad thing is that for all we know, there's nothing really left of Hank Pym in "Pymtron," and Pymtron just wears (half of) his face and speaks in his voice to mock the Avengers. Given the state of Hank Pym's soul as of the ending of Infinity Countdown (which was a prelude to Infinity Wars) . . . That said, yeah, there is room to argue that the Avengers aren't that good at helping each other when they fall on rough times, physically or psychologically. They'll band together in a world/galaxy/universe(s)-threatening crisis, sure, but actually helping recover from an emotional, nervous, or flat-out psychotic breakdown? Not so much.
