Can someone explain to me what happens to the souls of these mutants when they are resurrected? Souls exist in the Marvel Universe. There are many examples of souls being sold, people going to Heaven or Hell, etc. So what happens to the souls of resurrected mutants? As far as I can tell, Cerebro just backs up their minds. So are the revived X-characters just clones with the memories and personalities of their templates? That is the impression I'm getting at least.
My issue with Hickman's run is that some characters feel like pod people, which can partially be explained by no soul. My other complaint is that we never see how some characters get to certain decisions, and it's frustrating. Why are so many okay with literal Nazi, Mr. Sinister? I'm interested in how the polycule came to be. I'm fine with it, but right now it seems more "shock value" and queer-baiting than something worth being explored by the writers.

1 Jason Aaron's Thor- Just personally cannot stand the run. I know a ton of people are fans but it just had no redeeming qualities to me.
2- Immortal Hulk- Tried the first few arcs because people kept telling me its amazing and I just do not get it. I guess the art is great but as far as story I do not get why people like this story
3- Most of claremont's X-men run- It has its good moments and there is no question it had a influence on the overall team but I just think its really overrated- I find what Morrison and Hickman have done to be so far superior.
4- Almost anything Bendis- All of his runs start so well but I cannot recall any bendis run where he sticks the landing, almost all of his runs on multiple characters introduce so many great ideas and almost always botch them all and leave the brand in a worse place than where it began.

I'll always love both Roger Stern & Ron Frenz, but my choice is Hobgoblin Lives (1997). Even though it's done by the OG writer & creator of Hobgoblin, I could never bring myself to embrace this version of the identity revelation.

    spoilers:
Perhaps if the rumors are true and Nicolas Cage does portray the Kingsley brothers in a dual role for a cinematic adaptation, then I might change my tune.
    end of spoilers

But for right now, my preference will always be the 80's version of the Hobgoblin identity revelation:

I never really got the appeal of any the Secret Wars stuff going back to the very first one.

I still ask whether Civil Wars I and II were even necessary.

At the end of the day, though, I think what Marvel has been publishing pretty much is driven by their fanbase. And I must say, when I see some of the stuff that appeals to the readers, maybe it's not that big of a surprise that most rave about stuff that I'm less than enthusiastic about....like pretty much every story ever featuring Deadpool. But different strokes for different folks applies here.

Cate's inhumans and Morrison's X-Men. Jean's death was unnecessary and so were the ones in DoI. Terrible villain.

Fighting demons for their souls would be cool for sure.

Yeah, I really don't get how Mr. Sinister can do all his horrific acts, but once he gives himself an X-gene, all is forgiven. I guess they see working with him as a necessary evil for the survival of the mutant race, but I figure there be plenty of mutants vocal in their disapproval of Sinister. I assume some of the Morlocks would be pissed he's around.

I will always love that he brought Lionheart to the Marvel Universe, even if he didn’t understand the Captain Britain concept at all, but then we got the Avengers Forever costume that stuck around until she died. Forgot that she’s a fashion designer, and would never go that long without shaking things up.

JA's Godbutcher run and a lot of his following stories about Gorr and "All-Black", seriously, Gorr is basically Desak the God Destroyer 2.0 but watered down and more flat. If anything Jason Aaron is that dude who comes up with a super generic idea, pour tons of resources into it so it may sound cool, and then keep trying to convince you it's cool with bunch of build up, and then it all falls apart in the end.
I guess "Phoenix is Thor's mom" sounds cool in his head as well.

    Millar's Daredevil and Watchmen.

I read both long after they were published and while I can see how and why they're lauded, they really did nothing for me emotionally. That said, there were some highlight 10/10 issues in DD but overall...enh!

I feel like "Even if he didn't understand the <fill in the blank> concept at all..." is a recurring theme in a lot of Austen's work.

But yes, I'd agree that Kelsey was the highpoint.

Maybe dislike is a bit too much of a word, but I find both Morrisons X-Men and Reminders Uncanny X-Force overrated,.

I have to disagree. It's neither popular nor lauded.

That is my main problem with the Krakoa nation. There should be plenty of mutants there that would flat out refuse to work with monsters like Sinister (AN ACTUAL GODAMMEND NAZI) and Apocalypse but they keep selling this "all is forgiven because were mutants" nonsense. I kinda hope that one day it is revealled that Xavier (who lets face it is pretty damn shady himself these days) has been influencing people all along to go along with working with these evil bastards. It would redeem a lot of characters in my eyes to know they were not just willingly going along with it in the name of mutant brotherhood.
