Idk if it was noted elsewhere in the thread but Alyson Court confirmed she's not playing Jubilee anymore, but she is still in the shows cast. She's talked before about how she should have been played by an actual Asian voice actor so thats not too surprising

What do you think would be the reason for them splitting up ? It's said they'll pick up straight from where og left but we don't know if it'll be chronologically two years after the show's finale or just a few days later
I feel it would just be weird to have them being divorced all of a sudden

Young Justice's season 2 said it'd pick up right after where season 1 ended, and it did, then tere was a 5 year time skip minutes later.

They technically didn't lie, but yeah, something similar could be done here.

Because Kwannon is Psylocke now and probably forever. With the current push for diversity there's no way Betsy will be an Asian ninja like in the original show. And there's just no room for white Betsy with far more popular psychics around.

Of course I would love Betsy to be in it. But I would also be really excited if they bring in Nightcrawler, Emma or an out and proud Iceman.

Blue could swap Beast for Kurt:
Cyclops, Gambit, Rogue, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Wolverine and Jubilee.

And Gold could add another female:
Storm, Jean, Iceman, Colossus, Bishop, Archangel and Kitty (or Emma).

Beast, Forge and Dr. Reyes are the mansion’s support.

My brother (34), cousin (36) and me (44) were all texting one another giddy with excitement at this announcement. So you are not alone. I plan to watch it with my kids and I guarantee you I am far more excited about that than they are. Ha.

I would love to see an animated adventure even if it were just one episode with the OG Gold Team from the 90s. Bishop made a lot of guest appearances in the 90's cartoon and so did Archangel but poor Iceman was neglected. To see them together with Jean and Storm would be heaven to me. They are my favorite 90's era team. I admit their stories weren't the greatest but I love that team for the characters and I admit it.

My prediction on this new cartoon is that it will start with the 90's characters- maybe recap some of their adventures, but they will show how how the characters have changed due to perhaps the absence of Xavier or whatever has gone on with the world after the events of the last episode. I think we'll see new costumes, storylines, and the introduction of other characters - maybe even Kitty Pryde. I think folks who are worried it will just be the 90's Blue team with Storm and Jean (and minus Betsy) will be surprised. I think it will be more than just a 90s rehash but we will see. It has to have a modern take but still be familiar enough that both younger folks and older folks can enjoy it.
