Many people who don't like BP referred to him being too smart, he can't beat this character because of reasons, he and Wakanda are perfect and can do no wrong hence they used the term mary sue when describing him. Some of these same people never read much BP and were basing their opinions on what other people were saying in other threads.

As far as Cap, go back and read comments about AvX in the X-forum where you will see fascist tossed around a lot when talking about him.

Honestly I majored in philosophy, became a physician so you’d think I’d know about meta, but I’m wondering if I’m too old to grasp your meaning. Sorry. Was the meta of Boseman his early colorectal cancer? Phenomenally tragic, as is the million souls dead from COVID19, but I’m misunderstanding your use of meta. Overwhelmingly sad? I do my best to look up old Black Panther facts and feats. That was one reason I listened to that first podcast about Black Panthers history. I didn’t get a chance to listen to the other installments.

I got reprimanded for vulgar language like that but we’ll let this one slide, ok? There’s a lot of tripe on this thread that smacks of bias, probably some toxic stuff too, borderline racist. It’s too bad. My sense is that there’s a lot of energy expended here hiding bias that is couched in some ridiculous idea of critical analysis. It feels exhausting.

I only parroted the abysmal response by republicans in congress when asked if they were racist. “I have a friend who’s black” which was such a winner. As always, suggesting “ I know some people” truly is a narrative killer too. That’s all.

Hunter definitely makes the most sense because he knows Wakanda from the inside out. But they could always throw a curveball and have it be Achebe.

I still hope it's S'Yan. He could be T'Challa's Winter Soldier except without the brainwashing regiment. He's been jacking up on synthetic herb 'til it made him slightly insane.
