The only people being set up is us. Now that they're adding Cassie Nova to the Marauders Bishop will get pushed even further to the back of the line.

They'll have him say something where he threatens to kill ol' Cassie if she gets out of line but we know nothing will happen. Dude is just wasted.

Just like they remembered about Rachel in AvX? A character having the ability of solving the problem is the assurance they won't be in the story. If the character is too big to be left out, they will just be knock out fast.

They should have never bothered to tease Bishop though. They still could have brought him along because it still isn't a given that they would have won.

An optimistic take on this, is that those teasers weren't just about Inferno, but also about what will come after. But you're probably right.

Bishop was in a book in 2021 and will be in a book in 2022. Here's hoping this year he materializes some story. I think Orlando will treat him right though.

Where my characters are involved my routine is to listen to reviews first, at least it gives me more chance to avoid let downs like this. I so hate cover lying!
