Yeah Amelia is a very good choice.

Pretty much any telepath. I mean theoretically if cerebro can reach across time and space and it existed in all those realities it could have just sent a psychic feedback download with the same information Moira has. So maybe a character like No Girl. Granted that would significantly change the story though so someone older perhaps Sage.

Female. Alternate. Universe. Version. Of. Xavier.

    Full Loki show copycat.

Joke aside the idea of a telepath reaching out to Xavier over time and space and bending his mind and personality in the past via dark visions could have been a valid alternative. Heck, there is the Astral Plane where time and space are relative anyway. Xavier happend to be last seen there before HOX/POX on top of it.

Larry Bodine from New Mutants 45. His suicide was staged to put him in hiding. He was a one and done character, so it would have been easy to retcon everything.

    Gabrielle Haller might work too.

    Cassandra Nova.

Xavier's twin was still born, and in the first timeline she was used as a receiver by Xavier from the future to guide his past self.

This is kept hidden to avoid the anger of those who died the first time in Genosha

Not as underused as Moira. Moira was dead for 20 years and never coming back but here we are. The only way to avoid complaining would be to create someone new and try to Sage them into a fake history but that would’ve been far worse from a storytelling purpose. Picking someone like Moira who was prominent in the past, older, sketchy, and permanently off the table was a good choice.

    They could bring back Haven.

She already had the power to teleport into a separate dimension that she could warp to her liking and she had the ability to not only heal and restore people but improve them. She could have filled both the spot of Moira and Krakoa.

Actually, yes she was. More so in fact. Moira had a long and complex history with the X-Men before she died. Amelia hung in the background for nearly her entire comics career.

Moira has even been in the X-men movies and a handfull of videogames. She's hardly an unknown character that's been left to rot.

They should have used Destiny instead of Moira. Destiny's powerset would allow her to watch all possible futures and even experience all potential lives. She could have been manipulating both Xavier and Magneto all this time, and reveal herself to them only now, showing Xavier what she knows about the future and provoking Xavier and Magneto to create the new nation...
