Honestly, I am surprised they haven't since he appeared in "Ant-Man and the Wasp" for that movie synergy. They also haven't done much with his nephew Thomas, who swore revenge on Stark and Reed for Bill's death.

I’d love to see them both. Make Tom a Young Avenger or Champion and Make William a new FF member! He would be perfect on a FF team!

He last appeared in an Avengers annual where he sided with Wonder Man aginstthe Avengers because Simon thought that the Avengers were responsible for the villains that do bad things.

Who are the black attorneys in Marvel? Someone who can be a superhero. Someone who can train people to file class-action lawsuits. Someone who coaches other minority law students. Why does the "legal eagle" status in Marvel always default to Caucasian Matt Murdock and tinted-but-Caucasian Jennifer Walters?

I think there's room for a new black lawyer superhero at Marvel. Seriously.

The below list is not comprehensive, but there are a few black attorneys. Predictably, criminal law attorneys dominate the group. Equally predictable, none of them have powers as far as I know. While a writer could easily dust one of these characters off and give them powers, my gut tells me that it's probably better for the writer if they simply created a new character with powers and a law degree.

She's no hero, but Janice Lincoln (the Beetle) is an attorney.

Which, if you think about it, makes no sense. Lincoln's felony conviction would result in disbarment and strip her of her legal license. She wouldn't be able to practice law in the US. She would be unable to represent anyone (except for herself) in any legal proceeding. In fact, she can't even really call herself an attorney. She's just a person with a nicely framed diploma from Columbia Law School at this point.

That said, this is comics, so it wouldn't shock me if writers completely ignored a key prerequisite of American jurisprudence just to push a story or two.

I'm kinda wondering if she actually got a felony conviction. Yes, this is fully for comic book reasons though.

Hard to say, she has been arrested a few times. Ex-cons can still become attorneys in most states, and disbarment isn't always permanent. Matt Murdock has been tossed into prison a couple of times and he eventually returns to the status quo. Supervilllains also seem to serve very little time behind bars, regardless of conviction. (Even less time is you consider the sliding time scale.) It's a universe where in Dan Slott's She-Hulk, comic books could be cited in cases as legal precedent, none of it really makes sense. Their legal world just operates differently. (With the existence of mutants, intelligent robots, etc. It probably would have to.)

I do like the idea of there being an "evil counterpart" to the Matt Murdocks and Jennifer Walters of the Marvel Universe, working for the Maggia, etc. to get these costumed villains back out onto the streets.
