Yah, except that it looks like a look of fear rather than any kind of lust. Its interesting to me that a pantsless guy is even there, but maybe it was common to get blown out of your pants by cannonfire? I've also read speculation that somebody took his pants to keep warm. After all dead guys don't need pants!
I've seen this painting in person by the way. Its about 10 feet wide by 8 feet tall, a truly amazing work by Delacroix.
