R&G seem to be getting a push, now, I think. Yeah, without a doubt, KT deserves all the credit in the world. Especially with the odds stacked against her the way they were. It's truly an achievement.
And speaking of [relevant] memories...
and some of the same players, too.
I didn't care much about another crossover on the same title, but the Brood plotline has been seeded from the early Hickman days so I'm fine with it.
And the Phalanx just got a big focus in the last Legion of X issue. Seems like the summer Fall of X really might wrap Krakoa in its current form.
About the news itself… X-line really has gone crossover crazy huh? Judgment Day just ended, Dark Web is starting, and I was kinda hoping that X-Men would hold down the fort while SOS was going on. I heard good things about the CM that came out related to this so looks like I’ll be picking that up!
Dude, word. I haven’t picked up two comics a month on the reg since X-FAQ and Hellions ended. SO tickled that after Gambit’s solo ends this week, I’ll have Cap Marvel to sustain me until the next mini series. Things are certainly looking brighter than they were last year. (And the G&R fan works week too!)
I don’t usually participate in crossovers bc I’m contrary and refuse to be told what to do what books to buy and what characters to like, but the saving grace is that this x-over isn’t involving the same 6 mutants and 3 Avengers it always does. At least, until Cyclops and Jean show up again. Glad to know we were spared Logan and got Laura instead. Upgrade! If one of the characters has to be sacrificed, can it be Havok? >

Also, on a more personal note, my favorite panel(s)/part(s)...
and some other things:
IDK, Duggan's X-Men book was only involved peripherally in AXE:JD. Granted, it was the yr. 2 team's opening 2 issues, but still.
And, given Hellions & maybe even adjectiveless itself, like w/HfG'22...
the developments of...
seem fairly organic.

I mean, Dark Web isn't really an X-line crossover at all and the only thing X about it is a tie-in mini not impacting ongoings at all, and it's not even clear that this X-Men/Captain Marvel arc is a direct issue-to-issue crossover vs. two stories taking place around the same time and same themes.
I love how extra CBR can be with their article titles.

"Lord of the Brood" is set to begin in the pages of X-Men #19 by writer Gerry Duggan and artist Stefano Caselli, and will continue in the following issue. The story will mark a return to the spotlight for the young, heroic mutant Brood known as Broo, whose very existence has long posed a threat to his species' ordinary status quo. "The Brood are back, and they're worse than ever," Duggan said. "The X-Men must make some hard choices about their pest control services, and what about Broo, the former student at the X-Mansion, we thought he was the Lord Of The Brood? The problems are galactic and it's all hands on deck including Captain Marvel, Rogue, Gambit and Polaris. Check for parasites."
Looking forward to seeing Broo again!
