My biggest issue with the conflict between Storm and T'Challa post marriage is that almost all the stories have been written where Storm, most of the time, gets what she wants. She always comes out on top with T'Challa appearing weak. You can tell that most of the writers are more of a Storm fan than T'Challa. And god forbid T'Challa have any type of romantic entanglement. He has been mostly celibate, besides Storm, and it's like writers cannot write T'Challa as a 3 dimensional character.

And can we get a writer that does not deconstruct T'Challa and Wakanda in almost every series?

T'Challa is the most honorable, ruthless, dangerous, chumped, badass, whipped character in Marvel.

He wishes he was Peter Parker.

Honestly, I just didn't get that pairing. It didn't make much sense. If they wanted have her be with a smart guy, they could have just dug up Bill Foster out of that hole they left him in.

At least one major Marvel man has a steady love life (i.e outside of already married ones like Reed Richards and Ben Grimm).

As for Storm and T'Challa, they should be kept apart.

Storm is written in such a way that she seems to overwhelm everyone. She's written as an assailable, queen and goddess with no peers and no equals and is never wrong. Seriously, during X of Swords, she found a way into Wakanda and stole Skybreaker, that's how much Ororo overwhelms everyone.

Thus far, it doesn't seem writers can write Ororo and T'Challa as equals, so there's really no point in keeping them together.

I view it at as an attempt at overcorrection.

There's a recurring critique of the female characters being badly written as being defined as love interests to male characters (Storm did get hit with this a lot), and so writers have been trying to sort of "fix" that in a way that again borders on overcompensation.

Its what happens a lot with Mr Fantastic and Invisible Woman. Reed unfortunately has a history of treating his family so they want delve into this and they want to give Sue more agency than as "Reed's wife". Its just the way they go about it leads into sadsack Reed and Sue leaving Reed to sleep with Namor for possibly the most shallow reasons ever.

Straight up, T'Challa needs to have a LI home-grown from hos franchise. Storm ain't it. I am hoping that Hill does something new and exciting with This arrangement of T'Challa and Okoye as a married couple. It's okay for him to be with someone other than Storm

Editorial preventing Azari from becoming canon was nothing short of divine intervention. If that happened T’Challa would be a bigger mess than 616 Peter Parker is right now.
