What’s up with people fascination with Kasper?
That knock off vin diesel was never interesting
A preview of Ultimate Black Panther #2, for those reading it:

Kasper does strike me as a character that a writer can reinvent and do something really interesting with them. Plus the guy is biracial (Ugandan on his dad's side, Jewish on his mother's side) so there is interesting stuff that can be potentially done with the character.
Understandably things are not going great here. The existence of the suicide bombers means spies, and they have no idea how far the forces of Ra/Khonshu have already infiltrated the city.
Calling her Nakia would have made more sense, with Okoye replacing her after she became Queen. Either way though, I like Ultimate Okoye she seems very wise. Also I like the idea that T'challa is grieving but still operating as a functional King and from a position of strength. For story purposes I rather see him throwing people in jail, because he doesn't know who to trust, than see him in a room by himself on his knees monologuing about not wanting to be King.
After reading Priest's run on Black Panther, I can truly said I've learned nothing, but I remember everything!
I'm back from the Djailia!
Since D9 exists in the MU, T'challa is definitely an Alpha! (Don't Debate me)

I don’t think Kasper is a character that requires much reinventing if any but if you had to make a change I guess his father could go from being Ugandan to a Wakandan exile.
I think they had a daughter, Faida, together in alt future in Once and Future King although Faida’s mom’s name is never said what little details provided could be easily attributed to Nakia.
