PS: That said, I have to admit that X-Men'97 may be the first thing Marvel has put in Disney + that I've actually enjoyed. A lot.
I just chalked it up to her emotions dealing with the loss of Gambit and Eric. Like I said I'm just glad they didn't portray him as they like they would normally do in this situation. He wasn't the bad guy and he was actually trying to help. It would be interesting to see if they followed up with her finding his shield and bringing it back to him but I doubt they will.

I hope his appearance opens the door for them to consider bringing back Avengers:EMH.

Yeah, there is so much Avengers history that that they haven't touched. I'd like to see an Operation: Galactic Storm animated series.

Nothing would make me happier then to see the return of Avengers EMH. It was such a great show and would love to see it return. And just for Marvel to start putting their teams and wider characters in animated series not tied to the MCU. I don't hate the MCU but some variety would be nice and different/more comic accurate takes on the characters and storylines.

Yeah, I would definitely not want Marvel to turn away from the EMH universe that's already in play just to synch up with the MCU. They've already shown with X-Men '97 that there's no need to synch with the MCU.

    Bravo.
"It shames us all" - Is such a Cap line.

I would be interested to see a version of The Avengers in this universe...but I would rather just have EMH back.

I would too. Not to be jobbed by the X-Men, of course, but it could be cool. Who do you think would be in the team? I mean, if they go by the time-period, were talking about the Bloodties era, or maybe a little later. That would basically be the Jacket era team of Cap, Black Knight, Black Widow, Sersi, Vision, Crystal and Hercules, and, maybe, Giant Man and Thunderstrike. As cool as that might be, do you really think they'll go with that, or would they opt for a more traditional line-up? That said, I would also prefer having EMH back, and think that it would be intresting to see a progression of the team.

    Peace

My EMH line-up would be Cap, Wanda, Iron Man, Ms Marvel(Carol)/Captain Marvel, She-Hulk, Black Panther and Hawkeye. I'd add Vision and Natasha if I could expand the team.

It has varied over the years. In the 80s I think it was 6.

West coast had 5 members at one point in fact it was a plot point they needed one more member or shut down. Hawkeye bothered thing to join over and over to get one more member while firebird was pretty much begging to join in fact mockingbird called him out on that asking, "what's wrong with you?"

In the end poor firebird didn't get to join the wca and thing lasted less than a day before leaving the team.

    Hawkeyes a jerk.

More ironic turns out wasp killed that rule at the east team but forgot to tell the west team so it was all for nothing! I miss the classic wca.

Just read the latest issue. 3D man having the story that Firestar should have had in the main book. The difference in writing between Avengers and X-Men is astounding.

I agree. It's weird...I'm not the biggest Hickman fan but I enjoyed a lot of the ideas that he brought to the X-Table, even though the constant charts and memos and diagrams get pretty repetitive to me. That said, the storyline post-Hickman to get out of Krakoa has felt like some of the most convoluted nonsense I've read in years. And even more ironically, I think the Avengers issues that have tied into that event have felt like the strongest of this run so far, since so many of the previous issues have felt as little more than fightporn, at least to me, with not much in the way of character moments.

Really dug 3D Man here and I hope this raises his profile a bit, to where he starts showing up in other books/projects.

Like I said over in the Firestar thread..there was a great way to end her under cover story line and they dropped the ball.

And Marvel needs to get over their "only the MCU characters in the Avengers" rule. Keep 3 of the big names and fill out the roster with characters like Angelica.

Agreed. Heck at times even two should be enough. We need a second Avengers title that's much more brave with it's members. Avengers used to be a team for superheroes who can't hold solo titles. Now every member minus two carry solos plus the team book. Characters like Ant-Man (I miss Ant-Man, any version) could benefit form an Avengers spot. Same as Wonder Man, or Jocasta, or Hercules. The list goes on. Add new members too. When is Songbird getting her blasted membership?!

And use some characters who haven't worked together on the team before. Try to revamp some of the less popular ones as well. I would love an update to D-Man and have him get a good run on the team.
