It doesn't help that Mutans are no longer casually members of other teams.

With the retcon to Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch that means the Avengers lost their two most long-term Mutant members.

Well, at least now people have something concrete to point out to as far as Avengers helping Mutants.

    spoilers:
Triathlon, you traitor! He's working for Orchis! And he specifically says MODOK recruited him, so it's nothing to do with his old teammate Firestar's espionage.
    end of spoilers
While mentally reviewing the Busiek/Johns period, I was asking myself whatever happened to Triune Understanding movement and Triathalon - recalling that first costume of his that wasn't well received and then Busiek revealed it was his design (IIRC). And then his evolution to the new 3-D Man, but he seems to have reverted to his previous identity...

Also: Tony took over leadership from Carol already? Aint it always the way with these two!?!

He didn't become 3-D Man until after he left the Avengers. It happened in Agents of Atlas.

It was the Avengers that destroyed the Mark II Sentinels back in the day. For a good minute, the Mark II's were the most formidable Sentinels.

Just read the preview for Avengers #12. All I can say is say it ain't so 3-D Man! I've been rooting for him to make a heroic return for a while. I understand his role now and accept it, but I had high hopes.

I think that was in Avengers: The Initiative instead (when the 3D glasses gave him the ability to detect skulls), while Agents of Atlas Vol.2 started during "Dark Reign".

3D is easy to adapt to the MCU. I'm hoping his return ends up with him as a hero.

Losing Beast didn't help matters either. I liked when they added Vance and Firestar but I guess they won't be appearing on an Avengers teams any time soon.

What the heck is Beast wearing there? I thought he usually just wore shorts, ever since he became blue and furry.

That was his second X-Factor uniform. After he re-Beasted from hairless human. '88-ish, I think?

In the 2007 movie REIGN OVER ME there’s a scene where Don Cheadle’s reading a Captain America comic and discussing the Falcon. He wasn’t a fan of the plunging v-neck costume design.

I guess Mackay took him killing Crusader during Secret Invasion personally.
