Final post for the night. As cliche as it sounds, Peter Parker first discovering his powers and the Crusher Hogan scenes are some of my favorite awesome moments:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Yeah, this one still gets me choked up when I reread that issue.

We've seen all of these pages, probably dozens of times. They've all be retold and redone by scores of artists and writers. However, I can still remember reading the reprints of Amazing Fantasy #15, a story published several decades prior, in my local library and being absolutely captivated. The wall-crawling, the crushing of the pipe, Peter going against Crusher Hogan, the first use of the web-shooters, this was (no pun intended) amazing stuff. Looking over it now and I'm still floored by it.

This was before the "Wolverine can beat ANYBODY era". I fondly remember Sabretooth showing up to give Wolverine his annual Birthday Beatdown.

That's interesting to read. I was brought up in the "Wolverine can beat ANYBODY era" so I was really surprised to see Wolverine casually backhanded like that. I remember talking about this scene with some Spider-Man fans and they totally loved it.

Need to reread it again, but the three Thors vs. Gorr the God-Butcher was awesome. Went across a number of issues:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Same here. That was a powerful scene.

One of my favorite moments from the Priest's Black Panther run. Tons of cool scenes there, but the one that cemented T'Challa being a badass was this, where he used thinking, strategy, and skill:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Mary Jane proving to Peter that she isn't just some girl who's all about fun:

"I am a man of peace."

Remember seeing this post and being floored. Made me realize that at the end of the day, for all of his scheming and plotting, Thanos has a mean left hook:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."

Saw some YouTube shorts of the "What If...?" series Spider's Shadow. This is if Spider-Man kept his symbiote. Honestly, part of me felt like I was watching a horror film. If Spider-Man kept that symbiote and went all in villain, yeah, it would be really scary. I like this scene the best, since the Sinister Six usually intimidates and overwhelms Spider-Man. Heck, we see some classic Mysterio tricks. In this case, however, none of those things work. Part of me was actually praying that the villains brought in lethal ordinance.

    Check it out:
