Does anyone have a scan of Storm turning herself invisible? I thought she used pea soup fog but I see people actually saying she can do that but I never can find the scan

i've seen her use it to turn herself "invisible" with a thick pea shape fog like against proteus i believe but not to turn literally invisible.

She didn't turn invisible. She made a fog so thick that she wasn't seen until she blew open the door of a car. I'll see if I can find it for you.

In 616 continuity, MJNARI is tribal elder with whom Ororo has pivotal interactions during the seminal Storm tale LIFEDEATH 2. TAS took the name for Ororo's adopted son for that episode.

DAVID MUNROE (not to be confused with Storm's father of the same name) is Ororo's cousin. She has no siblings from whom a nephew would come that we know of as far as I recall.

I get it and understand, but do iceman fans get berated with explaining how he could stop time or do Jean fans get berated after what she did to nightmare when both Wanda and thor had problems with him? do they need to offer these explanations or is it just widely accepted? most of these folks who are complaining are doing so not even a full understanding of her mystical/Divine heritage as well. so it's a lot you will have to contend with but just know that this rarely, if ever, applied to other characters not named Storm.

I agree. And we both know why Storm gets so much push back.

My "push back" has nothing to do with Storm herself but at what I perceive to be shoddy writing. Unlike most I'm not impressed by magical feats pulled out of thin air...be it Storm, Wanda, Emma, Monica (her recent LS was incomprehensible)...any of my faves. But deflectors will deflect.

I don't see the need to provide an explanation, since it has already been emphasized that Ororo is a being of pure magic. Obviously, deeper writing to explore and work on this potential is more enjoyable, but as she thought about the bridge, she made the magic happen. And look, Clea is also a being of pure magic for being a faltine.

Apocalypse stated that Ororo cannot be reduced to a simple magical element, as it was the magic that was going to be used in the mutant magic circuit. it was definitely used as a magical battery where its life force was extracted to create life.

Ah! Okies. I suppose there is a connecting bridge from her being used as a magical conduit/battery to "a being of pure magic" in that instance. I admit having difficulty comprehending your particular interpretation at times...but that's clearly a Me issue.

I hate that the Krakoa era is ending so much. Hoping someone else handles storm the way Al Ewing did but knowing Tom Brevoort I have 0 faith.

At least now we can say she had one good era. Hickman was mediocre and Duggan was trash with her( 19-21) but Ewing (21-24) was gold. We've never had that kind of consistent good streak with her since Claremont was robbed of the character back in 2006. So whatever comes after, I'm just taking the win that we did get.

Lord Ewing has certainly given us her best run since X-Treme X-men, for sure. (Maybe even her best run ever, if we are being gracious, but Lord Claremont's OG run and X-Treme works are hard to ignore...) His presence will surely be missed!

The more I read this comic, the better it gets.
Ororo created a furious whirlwind around Yggdrasil, which was narrated as capable of shattering dimensions-containing World Tree, an act that left Thor very dissatisfied.

Been out of the loop. Does Storm play any role in Rise/Fall of X other than the resurrection of Magneto?

I'm curious as to where she'll be headed after everything is settled.
