Even though they're both long gone I would include Obadiah Stane and Justin Hammer giving Tony the most trouble. Both of them played huge roles in Tony's problem with alcoholism.

I would also say Whitney Frost. She broke his heart and also had a role in Tony's alcoholism.

Points, and let's not forget Hammer's part in Armor Wars, which had a pretty decent adaptation in the 90s animated series.

    That was pretty interesting, too.

Yeah, I wish that Tony would have been involved in the MCU Armor Wars movie.

There is no reason why we couldn't have gotten a proper AIM, Mandarin, and MODOK fighting MCU Tony Stark. People needed to heed the classic comics rather than think they could do better. I would've loved to see him face off against all of those villains.

A shame. Even the Avengers game did a better job with them, by and large. Probably the most formidable version of AIM in any Marvel continuity. If not for all the live-service B.S. . . .

Fair enough. The lack of variety in enemies might have been what really did that game in.

lol - it looks like Emma's going from Tony's circle to Riri's! The plot of the newly announced Exceptional X-Men has Emma and Kitty moving to Chicago and training some new mutant kids. Chicago is Riri's hometown, so Ironheart's gotta be a shoo-in for a guest role in that book. Especially as the writer is Eve Ewing who wrote Riri's solo.

And we could even get a bit of follow-up to some elements of Outlawed, since that arc was originally spearheaded by Eve Ewing, who did write in Cyclops standing up for the Champions and offering them a form of Krakoan protection when they were on the run from C.R.A.D.L.E. and "Kamala's Law." Funny how that worked out in the end, though, given current events.

She got lucky with both Ironheart and Exceptional X-Men, since previous writers (Bendis and Claremont respectively) already established it's where Riri and Kitty are from. Chicago is Eve Ewing's home, that's why she likes to set things there. And twice now she's been able to do it using previously established characters.
