For those that don't go to the X thread subsection and just follow Iron-man.
Uhhhhh...that's an interesting development if they follow through.

So Avengers Twilight premiered and its a dark future story. It has a "dark Iron Man" but not in the way you think.

    spoilers:
We are introduced to James Stark, son of Tony and Janet, Iron Man 2 with Jarvis' brother as his butler, and he's a total bastard. Defending a docuseries to an elderly Steve's face about the Red Skull being a hero cause "You hero's failed so you are no better than the villains you called villains, evil and good are just labels". He defends this documentary on the grounds of "free speech" and that Steve has no right to say anything about heroism cause "Heroes failed, Hank created Ultron so are the old heroes really better than the villains?" Along with that he also works for the government creating their police state tech, is the leader of the New Avengers who are invading other countries, and he has the disembodied head of his father locked up in the Raft who he apparently gets new tech ideas from.
    end of spoilers

What has been the best representation of Tony in the future? I don't think that there have been too many that have been positive.

In this case, the apple really does fall far from the tree . . . or maybe it rolls very far from the tree instead. Either way, I'm looking forward to that disgrace to the Iron Mantle getting his rightful comeuppance.

Hilarious bit I saw pointed out is that spoilers:
James who is the son of an engineer and a fashion designer (Janet is an artist like Tony after all), in a glorious case of irony appears to have no creative talent of his own. He has to literally pick apart his own daddy's brains to get all his ideas.
    end of spoilers

He's dying and possibly dead even in the current era. By this time period, he is likely long dead.

The original Guardians of the Galaxy met the Stark, a whole alien species that praised Tony Stark to the point of renaming themselves after him. More than a legend, more than a myth, Stark basically became God (in the social sense, not the power level one)

That may have been his best representation but it wasn't his best legacy.

    Ha, yeah. I wonder spoilers:
if Steve will end up throwing that back in his face when he finds out what the punk has done to his own father.
