That was one of the few good things about New Warriors back then. No yellow coat. She had a pretty good wardrobe.

The black and gold costume she wore in the latter part of the series was good, but that padded white and yellow monstrosity from the first couple of issues was pretty forgettable.

Jubilee so far has been in all three episodes of X-Men ‘97. The first episode gives her meaningful dialogue and a really great power/dance sequence. She doesn’t have dialogue in episode 2, but is seen reacting to situations.

For episode 3- Jubilee has maybe a minute or two of screen time- a few lines of dialogue- but is shown being protective, courageous, quick on her feet… and has two quick, but VERY useful/powerful moments with her energy blasts. Not wanting to spoil the details, but her powers are exponentially more damaging this series. I’d encourage you to pause/watch the scene in slow motion to see how much damage they cause.

I’m ashamed to admit that I still haven’t watched a single episode of this. I really need to fix that egregious error.

One thing that I’ve thought she should be able to do is focus her plasmoid power on the tip of her finger and use it like a plasma cutting torch. Watching her effortlessly cut through steel would be objectively cool. ��

That will most likely happen next episode… Episode 4 is said to star Jubilee… as she is trapped in a 16-bit arcade by Mojo and has to fight for her life.

I hope Episode 4 is good. I didn't enjoy ep3. But jubes vs MOJO in an arcade game setting sounds fun

Happy New Year to the "mall baby" that clearly subsists on nothing but chili fries! Looking forward to episode 4 of X-Men 97. Just saw the sneak peak today. Looks so good! Hope to see a lot of Jubilee this year!

Heck, in the old TAS Jubilee once knocked Sabretooth through a solid brick wall.
