Can we assume those powers are still at play moving into your X-Force? I ask as over the years differnt writers and editors would say they would mysteriously stop working or she never had them and the Krakoan era was the first time they were leaned into since Davis in Excalibur.
    hmm.

Them Phoenix gals got a lot of juice, that's for sure.

Rachel's powerset and its effects is something we will definitely be exploring. Saying more constitutes a spoiler.

    Geoff,

you mentioned before how you first pitched a Forge-led book in 2020 if I recall correctly. Does that mean that was a version tying into the Krakoa era? Or was it more era-agnostic?

He really isn't. I love Forge but the way he treated Storm and even to a certain extent Mystique proves that he can be a bit of an a-hole.

FORGE was voted leader most likely to weaponize the souls of his team (regardless of consent) to defeat an enemy, in a pinch. He's done it at least twice now...

Sounds like it's refering to the idea of a pitch that does not require particular status quo or era to work, but can be inserted into any such, by drawing from the general quality and strength of the characters.

For example: "Wolverine goes on a tour through south america, drinks a lot of beer, cuts up evil people, gets shot a lot, still doesn't smoke cigars again, hooks up with various women."

Boom! Top 20 seller for 4 years and it could just be inserted into the current, last or upcomming status quo.

Question for anyone: Does Surge still need her guanlets to help control her power or did she get over that?

So you’re aware of Hyperstorm, the future son of Rachel and Franklin? Just checking lol…

Also, we finally settled on a code name for Rachel.. Askani.. will that be sticking around?

well, I'm not one of the cool kids so I'm never privy to what the company plans or doesn't plan for any particular character.

ALL my pitches have to be independent of whatever's currently going on in a given universe because I am, like everyone else, a minimum of three months behind whatever's going on in the ongoing story. usually more than three.
