Who are your favorite members of the Legion of Superheroes? Cause it's a pretty big team, I'll split it in two.

With the exception of Mon-El, I kept Superman and the Rest of the House of El out.

I always liked the Legion because there were so many members, there were very different dynamics between different characters - there were cliques where some members were really close and others ... didn't even like each other that much. With Wildfire, I loved that he cared enough to work with the Legion Academy and I loved that some of them loved him, and some of them hated him - and both opinions were valid.

And fun to see Timber Wolf making such headway here. I've always been a fan of long-limbed athletic dynamic characters, all over the battlefield, like Spider-Man, Daredevil or Nightcrawler, or Timber Wolf or Nightwing, at DC. Acrobatic and agile and all over the place! (Bouncing Boy also captures this, but Timber Wolf does it without anyone cracking jokes about him!)

And then there's poor Condo. Died before anyone who really got how amazing his powers could be, had a chance to write him. He really needed a writer who had at least a passing familiarity with chemistry. (Or even someone more focused on one of the sub-disciplines, like biochemistry, who could have made him absolutely terrifying as a combatant, able to pump people up, and not just himself, or shut them off like a light with a flex of his power! And... you're all asleep. Boring-est fight ever! Sadly, also applies to the readers! Long-ass science explanation, short-ass fight!)

I kinda preferred Retroboot Tyroc with sonic powers, despite a nostalgic fondness for whacky random-magic-screams-that-do-unrelated-stuff Tyroc. But gosh, that HUGE gap between those two characters, encompassing pretty much the Legion's entire epic run, and eliminating him from being a contender for the various Legion 'boots (Reboot, Threeboot, Bendisboot, etc.) kind of slaughtered him for popularity poll purposes....

I haven't voted yest, because I like almost everyone on the list. The only ones I'm slightly meh on are Blok, Matter-Eater Lad and Tyroc. I'll try to limit it to top 5 and vote soon.

Well, had to expand my votes to 7 -- and included Chemical King because he is in one of my all-time favorites stories -- 'The One-Shot Hero' introduction of ERG-1/Wildfire.
