Or 601. But yeah. New creative team = retool. Doom will be gone I think (Marvel Two In One) and maybe MJ too (Spectacular Spider-Man?), but editorial will probably insist that Riri remains.
It may all depend on when Bendis is leaving/if he has 600 scripted already/etc..
Defenders #10 is going to be his last issue of that book and #7 just came out. So that's 3 more months
He leaves Marvel at Christmas. He's already done with Defenders and probably Jessica as well, since she's getting a new writer once the Purple arc is over. So he has time to stockpile a few issues of Miles and Iron Man.
I have to be honest... I never liked Pepper. I wish she had died instead of Happy...
Nah, she'll get her own short-lived solo and then fade into Limbo, which is more than she deserves... Lila and/or Toni will fill her role just fine... MJ is surely going to be removed, but dunno about Doom. He makes a good frenemy. The Iron Man/Doom Trilogy is a staple of the IM mythos at this point.
With Alonso right behind Bendis out the door, Riri may be toast.

Let's hope so...
Yeah, I don't think Riri should be removed completely from the Marvel Universe, but I don't need to see her in the main Iron Man book once a new writer takes over.
I see five possible options.
1). She remains as Tony's sidekick.
2). She joins the Champions.
3). She gets a new team - perhaps a revival of Young Avengers? There's room for both YA and Champions, DC has two Titans teams after all.
4). She gets her own solo.
5). The axe.
I don't think the last two are likely. They'll find a place for her, but I'd be surprised if it's a solo.

Young Avengers would make sense. I don't want her in Tony's book because I really don't want any evidence of Bendis in Tony's book. As harsh as that sounds, I don't really care.
