The Korvac Saga: Part 4 of 10 - "Where Angels Fear to Tread" Guest-starring Ms. Marvel
Earth's Mightiest Heroes are in hot pursuit of Jocasta through the streets of Manhattan!
During the chase the Avengers pick up an ally, Ms. Marvel,
and locate the female robot's final destination...a convent! Is Ultron hiding out among the nuns? The evil one is full of surprises!
And the next one is for the Scarlet Witch, the most dangerous avenger to the adamantium monster!
It's another classic battle between the Avengers and Ultron! An excellent issue!

No Rogue on this list? I thought "once an Avenger, always an Avenger".
Oh, god. CBR and it's terrible lists. Do people who make these ever actually open a commicbook?
Thor and Hulk on the top spots? Okay, I can live with that.
The rest right up to 10 is, IMHO, very arguable. I tend to find it hard to place someone who can be knocked out with a single punch, such as Doc and Wanda, as "most powerful". Herc should actually have been number 3. Even if you go only on his strength, it's supposed to be nigh immesurable. Add the mystical arsenal that he's been making use of in the last few years, and there is very little he can't handle. What really shocked me is putting Iron Man ahead of him. Herc has trashed IM more than once, and easily. Also, Red Hulk ahead of Wonder Man? Simon has taken down RH without even breaking a sweat. Heck, if Simon went all out, I can see him trashing half of the top ten. And I can't believe how many powerhouses were left out. Spectrum anyone? War Machine? Even Jocasta.
Peace
Sorry, wrong board.

These videos were funny.
On the one hand, I agree. On the other hand, defining 'most powerful' is always going to be a nightmare. Wanda and Strange are indeed ridiculously powerful, but they are complete glass cannons. In a game of rocket tag, it depends on who goes first, with them, *and* with who is writing them. Strange used to *casually* restrain the Hulk with the Crimson Bands of Cytorrak until he wore himself out and reverted to Banner, and nowadays, he rarely even remembers *any* of his invocations (like Winds of Watoomb or Vapors of Valtor), and when he does, they don't work anyway. According to bad writers, Wanda can just say 'No more Hulks' and make all gamma-powered people in the multiverse powerless. But, she doesn't, because that's stupid.
As a list of pure powerhouses, it's not terrible. Wolverine, Spider-Man, Captain America and Luke Cage don't belong anywhere near it, and maybe not Valkyrie, but still, not terrible, even if Wanda and Strange's powers are on a different scale than Wonder Man or Thors. Sersi kind of crosses over. She's not much of a physical brute, compared to say, Hercules, but her transmutation power is pretty much an 'I win' button.
Showings are super inconsistent anyway. Stingray, a nobody by Avengers standards, regularly fought Tiger Shark, who consistently was able to throw down with *Namor.* He's not a joke, even if often treated as such. Moondragon has telepathy able to mind control an entire planet (and Thor!) and pierce the mental shields of Galactus, a side-dish of telekinesis able to stop Thor's hammer, and alien martial arts skills that allow her to throw Captain America around. She's pretty much the Phoenix, but without the whole fiery bird special effect. And then there's Monica Rambeau, who could, if she wanted to, destroy a planet. Yikes. Even *before* that power up, right out of the gate she could travel at light speed, and fly around the Earth eight times in a second, and hit like 120 lbs. of light.
