Netflix's Defenders TV Series

Since it's netflicks rather than network TV they in theory can go pretty far... though I'm sure they are well aware that little kids will be watching. I imagine it will end up being a watered down version of Alias... which is still workable.

The fact that it is on Netflix has me more excited than I would be for basic cable. There's probably going to be a lot more freedom for all the characters, which sometimes can lead better programming.

You could easily work in the Daughters of the Dragon into the Defenders via Iron Fist.

I'd be surprised if at least Misty Knight ( complete with jokes about how porny her name is) didn't show up in one of these series.

I'd think they'd have to make an appearance in an Iron Fist series. Misty and Colleen along with Luke are probably some of the strongest supporting characters Danny has. Orson Randall would be a nice addition as well.

i wonder if they will be involved with mostly gang related stuff and i wonder if black widow will appear in the series and not involve shield that much. they've been very annoying lately as much as the avengers are now.

If they do involve SHIELD I'm sure that it will be another division other than Coulson's team. There probably will be some gang related stuff and probably some evil corporation doing shady stuff. I just hope they give us a version of The Hand that isn't a joke.

I'm looking forward to the defenders stuff, and I did just realize that daredevil and presumably iron fist will be the only heroes with secret identities. I didn't notice that before until now.

I'm hoping that Colleen and Misty both show up at some point in the series. Their history with Danny and Luke is pretty long. I don't see why they wouldn't at least appear in the first season. But if they in the first season they would have too appear in the second season at the very least.

They could be the major villain across all of the shows somehow uniting these characters to become The Defenders. If they have The Gorgon on the show as well leading The Hand, that would be sweet.

Does anyone know what the Jessica Jones series will be based on? It would be a total waste if it wasn't based off of her masterpiece Alias series.

Really looking forward to Daredevil, I've got every faith in Cox nailing the part. Glad to see they aren't using all of their big guns to early and are saving Bullseye and Elektra for further down the line. I'm assuming Night Nurse will be to the Defenders what Coulson was to the Avengers, which will be cool.

Regarding the other shows, I would have preferred to see Cage and Danny go straight into a buddy show and seen the spare slot used by Shang-Chi, Misty Knight, The Punisher or even Elsa Bloodstone.

Also agree with the people that say they shouldn't be the Defenders. H4H or Marvel Knights would have been much more appropriate and we could have seen Defenders on the big screen.

That's the assumption right now. I can't think of a reason why they wouldn't base her show off Alias.
