I'm not a fan of the one dimensional haircuts and beards. At least the characters all have more dimension to them. And things do change plus Luke letting Noah "get away" was a notable moment. However for a 5 part opening arc the resolution was underwhelming. It certainly wasn't as 'fun & flashy' as the sample pages posted above from that previous volume's opening run. KEVLAR has decent motivation -for good or bad- now and his codename would be cooler if he had a cooler look. This latest cover didn't really grab me either.Luke Cage #5

What happened to that female doctor Luke was working with? Was she arrested for her connection to all this or just let go? She was like the only major character who's fate was left unrevealed.
Walker left a few loose ends lying about and I don't see this series lasting long enough for him to get to them...

I really wish Defenders was stick around. That is where I was hoping to get my Cage fix.
That book canceling is the only reason why I'm upset Bendis is leaving. Was hoping to get at least 12 issues out of that book from him.Idea's Open Discussion And Growth.
