    Pleasantly makes us
    The Greatest Honor Of All,
By visiting us for a few moments,

    In order to express
    His Most Sincere Congratulations

A Short Glimpse Into The Club Doom

    - no feral creature allowed -

In celebration of The Best of all Hosts,
Always caring to share, for their greatest pleasure,
With the happy few open-minded mortals lost on this miserable world,

And on the Occasion of the 250 000-th Visit
    - Connoisseurs are Legion, indeed -

Victor would simply like to use just one word,
And friendly invites us, mortal peasants,
    To follow His Incomparable Example...

(I humbly let The Master speak...)

    - CHEERS !

I love those Doomscribe. What would this day be without your presence here? I hope some other absent friends and fellow minions of Doom can join in.

I don't recognize the middle image. Where does that come from and who is the artist?

Its a shame Doom has never really gotten a great adaption in other media, Purple Man, Obadiah Stane and Willian Stryker are better villains in live action then Doom and that's just sad for Doom.

Even most of Doom's appearances in animation are not great, he never got a really great animation adaption like Joker and Magneto has.

I love Doom in the comics, but he really needs better appearances in other media. I think his best showing in other media was being the Big Bad of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1.

Not anymore, Your Excellency ! I'm not really into throat hugs these days... (need to eat my pie and drink my beer). Any other treat you use to offer to costumed friends ? Something good to know before getting out thread and needle out the box, My Lord ?

I think most if not all Doom fans would agree with that. I loved playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance and the cut scenes were well done. Doom was voiced by New Zealander Clive Revill whose best known works in film were The Legend of Hell House (a film from a Richard Matheson novel that is very much like the Robert Wise directed "The Haunting") and the voice of the Emperor in Star Wars Episode 5: The Empire Strikes Back. And when you consider the link from Doom to Darth Vader, it is an interesting connection !

Abe asked me to re-post this here, and it really is more appropriate.

Reminds of this pimp cup Busiek posted recently.

    It lights up!
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?

If anyone finds out, please post the details! It's actually perfect for Abe with all the fleurs de lis.

At the risk of being accused of liking to hear myself talk (post), I love those pics!

Not really ! I wouldn't say that I approve the decapitation of a king, but let's say that I'm quite proud of some changes in our history... ( "our history" refers to Frogs' land of course, not the Marvel realm... Let's forget the sad events a little bit during the time of celebrations !) And I disagree also with the beverage in the cup... The color, the bubbles, not even blue by the way... I can't help myself, I don't know what it is, but this cup deserves better ! IMHO of course. DoomScribe ! Another Monarch's Beer please !
