Default What's your favorite version of Iron Man?

As much as I love the RDJ Iron Man, my favorite version of the character isn't even from the comics or movies but from the Iron Man: Armored Adventures cartoon. He's an immensely cool character and I wish the show had lasted longer, but it doesn't fit with Marvel's current animated universe.

I LOVE all versions except for the whole Crossing angle. I agree with the Op as I LOVE the Armored Adventures cartoon. It was amazing. I have all the seasons and never get tired of watching them. The did the Man in the Iron Man and Extremis really well in the Armored Adventure cartoons.

Movie Iron Man is my favorite. Cartoon teen Iron Man is second place.

Same here. One of the few cases of a movie character surpassing the Comics version. I hope they don't turn him into a jerk for the sake of having him be the antagonist of Civil War.

As far as the comics go, I would go with Matt Fraction's take on Iron Man.

MCU Iron Man is currently my favorite.

I'm kind of down on the comic version right now. I don't like the whole "Superior" thing happening, and I wasn't really big on making him adopted.
I hope I shall possess firmness and virtue enough to maintain what I consider the most enviable of all titles, the character of an honest man.

I prefer the original comic book character first appearing in Tales Of Suspense #39
Not to crazy for how Tony Stark has been used in comics the past decade.
Really enjoy Downey's movie Tony Stark, but just the acting, don't really place the movie or television or cartoons on the same plain as comics.
To me comics are the 'real world' and television and so forth are just imitations of those.

No.1 Dave Michelinie/Bob Layton version -The best Iron Man of all time.
No.2 Fraction's version -The best combination of cool and cocky.

MCU version. RDJ just took it and made it his own.
