Good question/point. They did not explain how he got his arm back in Humphries UXF. I'm guessing the revenant hunters order he joined somehow healed both his mind and body.

I felt bad for him when they destroyed the good man that we knew and replaced him with the imposter from The Messiah Complex. He's been redeemed and now he's found a possible home after UXF was cancelled. It's a start.

I agree with you there but I think UA is going to make it worse, not better.

Considering Bishop from the comics grew up in a future internment camp in a dystopian world, how can we know what he sounds like? Its not like they have Standard American Dialect broadcast television. Besides, he's actually a freaking native Australian according to Claremont, so who knows what they sound like in the future!

There may not be television, but accents are still probably passed down. Wasn't Bishop born in New York anyway? Or was it changed to Australia with that mini? I forget.

I am glad to see this thread.

Now that the movie is out, hopefully, Bishop will show up in a book soon.

I like Bishop. I miss X-Treme Era and Claremont Uncanny Era Bishop. Before that stupid Cable series. I prefer my Bishop with short hair and a beard. I also ship him with Cable and Sage.

I'd like to see him back as a regular in some series. I loved seeing him in DOFP, even if he wasn't in it for very long.

I'm not sure which X-team he would work well in. I think he would be great in an Avengers team at this point. He just needs a writer that cares. On second thought, I'd love to see him in Mighty Avengers. That book has a great team, and a great writer.

Bad character derailment is just one of my pet peeves.

No hostility, but how has he been redeemed? Is redemption even possible?

Nope they should have gone with a classic evil alt reality version or mind control instead they danced around it.
