Realising that he might be dealing with pure evolution in a glass the High Evolutionary has but one course of action, pour the drinks down the Knights throats and record the findings. Apparently these drinks cause debate amongst the patrons of the Fulcrum's bar as to the real meaning of 'Knight' which is why a drunken bar brawl is now ensuing with some random alien called Rom. The experiment was deemed a failure until another patron, some small creature called Pip, reminded Wyndham that sometimes elements have to be introduced to more complex systems. Which is how he ended up imbibing several portions himself. The experiment was eventually deemed an adequate use of time and was agreed that it would merit further study. Perhaps they would seek out this other place the Fulcrum mentioned, "The Fortress!"
