I think Bendis would be a good fit.

I would LOVE to see this, but I don't see it happening.

Mark Waid, Peter David or Jason Aaron.

I hear good things about Al Ewing, but I haven't read any of his work.

Charles Soule would be a pleasing choice, but I wouldn't want him to drop any of the books that he's currently writing.

The guy is a writing machine. But now that you mention it, he IS picking up the "Death of Wolverine" story as well. So I guess that'd make it even more difficult to take on "Iron Man".
    My fan fiction:

Now that Rucka is back in the fold, I'd like to see him take a swing at it.

I think Rucka plus Paolo Rivera would be a great combination for a new Iron Man run.

Warren Ellis would be really neat. I hope they toss out everything from Gillen's run, or just ignore it.
How did I not think of Al Ewing before. He's such a no-brainer that I'd be surprised if Marvel doesn't go with him.

Ellis would obviously be interesting, but who knows if he still has any interest beyond Extremis.

Another vote for Ewing. He's really wowed me in a very short time.

LOKI: AGENT OF ASGARD is such an awesome book. Ewing would rock on Iron Man, and inject some much needed humor back into Tony Stark.

I'd definitely give that a try.

If Ewing is as good as people say he is (I haven't read anything of his yet), I think he'd do a fine job on Iron Man.
