Laura and Gabby form a nice duo act...but at the same time she does kinda flirt with the line. And when it comes down too it, i think its going to vary writer to writer.

I find that she crosses that line more often than not.

The jacket looks really great! I'm glad they kind of kept the idea from her Black and Grey Wolverine design.

I was kind of sad SDCC did an unmasked version of Laura instead of doing the Black and Grey Wolverine costume because I really loved that design.

Laura is surprised she knows of him and is quick to remind her that they never actually dated. Banter happens between the sisters and Cessily ends up dragging them along anyway*

If Mariko gives us a fun little NXM meet Gabby scene, that's going to get her a lot of brownie points from me.

How I would write the scene:

*Laura and Gabby enter the mansion see a gaggle of NXM (a group of NXM is called a gaggle so sayeth G)*

-Introductions are made and Cessily gives both of them a big hug because she can, also she probably squees at one point. Also Gabby thinks Rockslide is the coolest

-Laura does a quick scan of the group which for the sake of arguments is: Rockslide, Anole, Glob, Mercury, Pixie and Armor.

-Cessily tells them they're going to go meet Julian for lunch (he's doing his hospital work that day) and Laura tries to decline but Gabby does not want to miss an opportunity to meet the fabled "Ex-Boyfriend". Greg Thelen asked a question which many CBR readers were wondering: “Laura Kinney is returning to her old codename, X-23 (at least her book is). Laura killed the last person to call her X-23 in a very dramatic scene in All-New Wolverine #18. Can you give us some insight as to why she’s using her old codename again?”

White: You’ll have to read the book to answer that question, but I can say that obviously she’s reconsidered her position on it. Laura has a lot of history under her belt, like we all do, and at different points in one’s life one reckons with their history in different ways. She’s taking her past head-on in this series.

Kind of disappointed mine about ACTUALLY getting to see Laura and Logan develop their father/daughter relationship on-panel instead of via retcons and flashbacks wasn't picked.

I don't know about reset button, but she could certainly use a bit of a course correction and I'm happy that Marvel recognize that.
