I thought the whole New 52 was already more like a "What If . . . " series in the first place?
These are pretty much how I would have gone with it.
Note:
Action Comics would follow a time-displaced Superman in ancient times, with Darkseid as the main villain.
All-Star Western was pretty much the same for me, although I'd add more Western characters to the mix.
Animal-Man would be Timber Wolf re-imagined as a Changeling-type character who is limited to changing into mammals.
Aquaman would be a mash-up of Atlantis and King Arthur, with Arion becoming his Merlin.
Batgirl would be a monster-hunter, milking Blade and Walking Dead themes. She'd be a descendent of Dracula.
Batman would just be a more modern interpretation. Perhaps not even Bruce Wayne. I considered Man-Bat, but I settled on using him for Batwing instead, which I'll be getting around to soon.
In the meantime, we can pretend they're simply variant covers inspired somewhat by Super Team Family.

Note:
Batman and Robin follows the same aesthetic as Batman. I made Black Condor become Robin because I think the American-Indian/Punk Rock look just fit well with the overall feel.
Batman the Dark Knight... well, it's more Batman... not much more can be done there...
Batwing is pretty much Manbat. Batwing at least is a marginally better name than Manbat, so that's good for him. And it makes him more visually different than just another Batman.
Batwoman is an undead Nocturna in a Nightshade outfit.
Birds of Prey is a couple Thanagarian bounty hunters, Kiera and Shayera.
Blackhawks... I really wanted to do something more "Battle of the Planets" but instead went with the trio you see here (from Challengers of the Unknown), outfitted with huge mecha suits, ala Battletech.

Note:
Blue Beetle... I figured if DC was to really reboot, why would they publish a Blue Beetle book unless it was in some way connected to Dan, Ted or Jaime? Then I realized that the beetle is pretty sacred in Egyptian mythology, and Isis has been pushed into taboo territory as of late. So combining the two, we get a new Blue Beetle that's more connected to Egyptian mythology.
Captain Atom... the 80s Captain Atom and Dr. Manhatten have been the go-to template for a while, so instead I went with a spaceknight approach, with him as a leader of the Atomic Knights.
Catwoman became more literal as I mashed up Cheetah and Vixen into a new, more modern, Catwoman.
DC Universe Presents celebrates all of DC's history with stories from the Golden Age, Silver Age, Post-Crisis and Pre-Flashpoint.
Deathstroke became a new name for Katana in a Kill Bill inspired series.
Demon Knights follows a group of biker vigilantes, led by (a lesser powered) Lobo, Black Canary and Shiva (dressed as Death).

Couldn't resist.
