Today was a pretty good day for Jubilee fans!!

Phoenix Resurrection #1 is out today, and to my surprise, Jubilee gets a fair amount of dialogue, some action, and really beautiful panels. Kitty picks Jubilee for her field team to investigate, along with Colossus, Storm, Illyana, and Nightcrawler. They head to the Old Hellfire club and battle a bunch of bad guys... Jubes gets some good panel time and, after biting one in the neck, proclaims that they aren't human!! Issue #2 is out next week, and I would be equally surprised if she didn't show up in it.

X-Men Blue #18 also has Jubilee, albeit old-school, gum chewing, plasmoid-blasting Jubes Jubilee and Gen X go head to head with the young original 5 X-Men and Bloodstorm. I would say, however, that this time-traveling issue doesn't show Jubilee as much as the other Gen Xers. She gets a few fun lines of dialogue.

I wasnt expecting much from Blue anyway. Any chatwcter we see iant the true characters anyway. It was bice to see genx and banshee amd emma from that era though

I did like the line about Jubilee hating vampires. Ironic considering present day Jubes IS one.

Kitty's three squads were basically the main three teams with a couple of members added. Gold added Magik and Jubilee because Logan was with his other team and Prestige was incapacitated. Blue added Rogue, replacing the KIA Jean. And Weapon X had Laura and Psylocke, but was missing Lady Deathstrike.

Which species of livestock do I have to sacrifice to which X-office gods to keep Jubes and Illyana on the Gold team going forward? I’ll throw in an extra chicken if they’ll replace Guggenheim.

Dunno, but if you find out, I'll totally go halfsies. I've been dying for some Illyana/Jubilee time together ever since everything that happened circa around Fatal Attractions. I mean, Kitty came in to find Jubilee being all moody and emotional with a Bamf Doll! C'mon!

The one on the left is her earliest days hiding out in the X-men’s base in the Australian outback. She was wearing a jumble of clothes that she stole from the various X-women. Those are Rogue’s boots.

That explains the colour. Dazzler's shirt and Storm's jacket, I guess?
