That’s an excellent read. I also recall the time in OZT she was able to detect Bastion’s presence even though he had no psionic signature of any kind. So she definitely possessed some sort of psionic ability. Perhaps if she’s repowered that can be explored further.

But I do like her its just that I appreciate her flaws as well it what makes her a character. Plus a character's mutant ability that being an airhead/being from Beverly Hills so much that their power allows them to be free of thought and no telepath can read their mind is a bit funny adaptive power lol.

Every character certainly has their flaws, and as you said it’s part of what makes them the wonderfully rounded people they are. But I honestly don’t think I’d describe her as an “airhead”, as she’s of average intelligence - the “other mutant power” described in the article is implied to be psionic in nature. It really is a shame that it was never developed.

That’s possible, but if (as has been theorized) Gateway actually left the portal open longer than usual at the end of UXM 244 because he wanted her to follow the X-women, why would he then prevent them from knowing she was there? Also, Gateway wouldn’t explain the later GenX scene with Bastion.
